DEFINITIONS:
Weight: This is the weight of one square yard of fabric. For example; a 6 oz. t-shirt will be a little thicker and heavier than a 5 oz.
Singles: The number of cotton threads within a square inch of fabric. Similar to thread counts in sheets, the higher the number, the softer the shirt. Because the threads are thinner the shirt fabric is thinner and lighter weight
Ringspun: A process where cotton threads are twisted and thinned while being made. This results in a finer and softer fabric when it is woven together.

These can be a sturdy shirt such as the Beefy-T which is 6.1 oz., 100% Cotton and 18 Singles or a lightweight cooler 4.3 oz., cotton/poly blend and 30 singles.
 The cotton/poly blends have moisture wicking properties as well which make them dry faster and keep the person cooler.
TECHNICAL

​These are moisture wicking shirts commonly used by all types of athletes. They are called "Tech" (short for "Technical") shirts due to the technical nature of the fabric which draws sweat away from the body. They are lightweight, soft, and dry quickly keeping the wearer cooler and more comfortable.
